COUNTRY KITCHEN
This country kitchen with picture perfect views was in need of an update. Maximizing the storage capabilities and improving work flow was critical for this family who loves to cook together.
THE CONCEPT
Working through the 3D drawings of this kitchen helps our customers envision how their kitchen could look. In this drawing we have closed off one of the door openings to provide more counter space.
THE PLAN
The 3D sketches are great for visualizing the cabinetry and detail. This kitchen needed way more storage.
THE BEFORE
The basic layout was our palette and the windows and light were great. What was missing was storage and a modern vision
THE DESIGN
Keeping with a hue of blue, this custom dining room cabinetry will be a very functional focal point in this space.
DETAILS
Beautifully detailed cabinetry, custom hood fan, crown moulding and interior dovetail drawers prove that even the smallest spaces deserve the best details.
THE FINISHED SPACE
Isn’t this beautiful. The blue with rich cherry butcher block carried over from the island in the kitchen bring continuity into both spaces.
THE HOME
The small footprint meant storage used to be limited in this kitchen. New customized drawers, pull outs and interior gadgets improved functionality immensely.
THE FINISH
The brightness of the space is balanced with a rich cherry butcher block counter at the island and the infusion of blues throughout the backsplash. The island is a shade of blue which provides contrast to the warm wood floor and repeats tones found throughout the rest of the home. The addition of the brushed brass hardware and sink faucet add and element of surprise and warmth to the space – proving the brass is back.
This space defines what a country kitchen should be and why the design of a space matters so much. This is a place where people can come to be together, share stories and laughs and take in the beautiful atmosphere around them.
This truly is country living at its best.
